Falcon Bowl is one those quintessential neighborhood bars. Located in Milwaukee’s Riverwest Neighborhood, a once heavy polish area that’s been transformed into a hip artsist centered district, but Falcon Bowl shows it’s age in good way. All the equipment is vintage and still looks beautiful. The sanctioned wood lanes are holding up great, and the bar is the perfect size for a neighborhood hangout. Also attached is a large banquet hall which is shared with the local chapter of the Polish Falcons, a polish fraternity. When we visited Falcon Bowl was in transition phase. Owner operation Lynn Okopinski lost her husband John the previous year and she wasn’t sure what her next step in life will be. Lynn was a great host and shared many wonderful stories about the place, and her personal story is one that I’m looking forward to sharing with everyone.
